Gas station employee seriously injured after hit-and-run in Sherwood ParkPolice say employee was hit by a truck while trying to stop a gas-and-dash Saturday afternoon
Police have released images of the suspect's vehicle, described as 2000-2008 Dodge Ram. (RCMP) RCMP are looking for a silver Dodge Ram truck after a gas station employee was run down while trying to stop an alleged gas-and-dash in Sherwood Park on Saturday. Police say a man tried to leave the Superstore Gas Bar on Baseline Road just before 3 p.m. without paying for his gas. When an employee tried to stop him from leaving, the employee was run over. The gas station employee was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. Police are now looking for the public's help to identify the vehicle involved in the incident. The 2000-2008 silver, four-door Dodge Ram was last seen heading west on Baseline Road towards Sherwood Drive. The truck has extended tow mirrors, after-market black rims, a lowered trailer hitch and decals in the rear window. The driver is described as a white man in his 30s. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Strathcona County RCMP.
