 A pedestrian has been struck and killed by a C-Train just north of the Rundle station.The collision happened just before 8:30 a.m. north of Rundle station. (Evelyne Asselin/CBC) It happened at 36th Street and 26th Avenue N.E. just before 8:30 a.m., according to EMS. The man was declared dead at the scene. Police are currently interviewing witnesses. This is the second pedestrian fatality involving the LRT in as many days. On Wednesday evening, a man was killed at the Chinook station as he attempted to cross the tracks. Calgary Transit says trains aren't moving on the northeast line but shuttle buses are transporting affected passengers.
